Sometimes the fall seems easier than the rise. Easier to stop fighting ..... Easier to quit and avoid all obstacles, dodging them with each level that you drop.... Easier to sit and watch, as everything that involves exerting effort passes you by as you opt out....
But once you've hit that glass floor and the option of falling is no more, do you lie there plastered to the cold, lifeless, thick pane of nothingness dwelling on all that once was.... Or do you pull away and fight for life attempting to recover what floats above....
